Goal of our activities is to promote environmental awareness of the young people and community
about the state of the Baltic Sea and its´ catchment area. In order to achieve this goal we provide to the teachers environmental information and support the development of their professional skills.
The concrete actions are:
• Organising 4 study tours for at least 80 teachers of all subjects in order to introduce biological diversity issues of the Baltic Sea catchment area;
• Working out teaching materials about biological diversity of marine environment;
• Building up a nature trail in the Baltic Sea catchment area in order to introduce biodiversity issues;
• All the materials will be uploaded to the web page https://loodusaineteliit.wordpress.com/oppematerjalid/laanemere-teema/
• Cooperating with other actors in Estonia, Finland and Latvia;
These activities have a multiplying effect because every teacher affects groups of students and indirectly all community.
