The Baltic Sea Panel
The Baltic Sea Panel functions as the scientific spine of the the Baltic Sea Challenge, and it is comprised of leading experts on the Baltic Sea in Finland. The Panel was founded in the spring 2017 on the initiative of the Baltic Sea Challenge, the cities of Helsinki and Turku, and the University of Helsinki. The goal of the panel is to create societal discussions, support research, and make initiatives on conservation questions relating to local waters and the Baltic Sea. The Baltic Sea Challenge’s team functions as the secretariat of the Panel.
